So as the title says this was the best part of what was a really long day. We had not been home long after Sam was born but long enough that it was just the 3 of us. He was having a really bad day (which happens sometime) so I took him outside so that he could make as much noise as he wanted to and to give Marianne a rest. A bit of fresh and cool air quickly helped to calm him down. After calming him down I was able to get this great picture, of him in a blanket in the backyard on the green grass out in nature.
taken with the canon 50mm f1.8 using 1/250 shutter speed ISO 100 f3.5
The thing I like most about the photo is the nice warm colours in the background and the soft light, lighting up Sam. Even on some of the harder days you can get some great images. It's important to keep in mind that there is almost always a good moment you just have to keep an open mind to capture it.
I know this was the main photo from the last post but this is one of the photos that I really wanted to talk about getting back into things, look for a new posts on Thursdays .
