Snowshoeing in the Backcountry

This is the 1st time I have tried using facebook to post a video to the blog sorry if there are any issues with it.

In this video we go out snowshoeing in the backcounty to find some new photography locations, the forecast was for snow and that's just what I'm looking for.

There were only two photos in the video and the first one was the photo that we edited back at the house. I'm really happy with this photos the snow layer that was added really make the photo come together and helps show how much snow was falling.

37mm , f8 exposure 1/80 sec, ISO 100

the leading lines and the subject breaking the horizon really help to draw your eye in. It also help that it's also the only location with any really colour.

Here is a split of the snow layer so you can see how much of a difference there it makes

The only other image that I talked about about in the video was this winter minimalism landscape photo admittedly it's not for everyone, I like the mood of this photo but it won't make it on my wall this for sure.

35mm, f8, exposure 1/50 sec, ISO 100

Hope you enjoyed this blog, new blog coming out next Friday, don't forget to like and share it really makes a difference.

Cheers
