Great Blue Heron

This photo of a Great Blue Heron was taken on a trip to Florida, we took a day to go to some of the lesser-known places around Kissimmee Florida. On this day the light was great and gave some great backlight to this photo. I got to spend a lot of time with this bird which allowed me to get a photo of the bird calm and relaxed. The bird is positioned in shallow water, surrounded by reeds and other vegetation in the background. The Great Blue Heron is known for its striking appearance, with its blue-gray body, long neck, and sharp beak. The photo captures the intricate details of the bird's feathers and its striking colors. The overall atmosphere of the scene is serene and tranquil, reflecting the stillness of the water and the peacefulness of the bird.
